Forging a brand on the shoulders of a giant
Smith & Wesson is a household name in manufacturing boasting a staggering 165 years of brand equity. Looking to expand their services into other precision industries, including aerospace and healthcare, AMPM was brought in to create a new brand from the ground up. After establishing the architecture and naming of the new company, a full scale identity system was developed along with an awareness campaign launched in North America.
With a new identity system in place, a suite of custom assets were created starting with location and studio photography. 3D modeling was done for highly specialized, proprietary products that serve as core elements of the identity.
