While many marketing initiatives are transitioning from traditional to digital solutions, the beauty and personal care market presented a unique challenge. These products hold tangible properties like smell and feel. Dow challenged us to create a more visceral digital experience to simulate the longstanding Trends Lab program that delivers fully formulated samples to its customers.
Using 3D renders, product samples were recreated along with other familiar sample kit components to simulate every part of the experience, from unzipping bags to flipping over double-sided formulation cards.
Videos were created using models to demonstrate properties like texture and feel. Users can also access the traditional formulation cards but in a digital format that can be downloaded and shared.
